What Determines Coating Performance

The part that decides whether it lasts

Industrial painting combines surface preparation and controlled coating application to the client-approved coating system, helping protect assets and achieve the required finish.

Danum executes surface preparation and coating application in accordance with the coating system approved by the client, consultant or paint manufacturer. Where required, work can be coordinated around production schedules, shutdown windows, access restrictions and site safety requirements.

Why does industrial paint fail early?
The most common cause is inadequate surface preparation. Coatings applied over rust, mill scale, moisture or oil contamination lose adhesion regardless of the product used. Correct cleaning, rust removal and priming determine coating life far more than paint brand.
Can painting be done without shutting down the plant?
In most cases, yes. Work is planned around production, area by area, using shutdown windows, night shifts and barricading. Only the immediate work zone is affected.
How long does an industrial coating system last?
Coating life depends on exposure conditions, the system specified or approved by the client, consultant or paint manufacturer, and surface-preparation/application conditions. Danum executes the approved system; technical system selection and acceptance remain with the client or its appointed technical representative.
